Coffee Please!

May I please have a lot of coffee!

As a coffee lover, caffeine is in my system and keep me going even in times I feel drained! I like tea, but coffee is my weakness. For my coffee fans, we know that coffee keep us motivated to start our day going. Do you remember the McDonald commercial, (I think) where the guy says "Don't talk to me..."?, that's how I am in the morning (laughing) before I head out the house. But it all depend on how I feel when I get out of bed.

I love to add Silk Almond Vanilla or Vanilla Unsweetened in my coffee. I warm the liquid up for about 30 second before pouring it in my cup. Everyone have their way of preparing their style coffee.

Ingredients:

Coffee
Silk Almond Vanilla

Materials:

Coffee machine
Coffee cup (any drinking cup)
Measuring cup
Milk stirrer (electric)

Really similar ingredients and materials.

I fill my coffee maker up with enough water, I allow my eyes do the measuring. I use the Bella Single Coffee Maker from Target for about $40 something. (I think I got mines on sale) It is very helpful, but the biggest issue I have with it, there is no timer, but it do cut off when there is no more water. You just cut it on and off, add water, and coffee there is no special effects with this machine.

I use 1/4 or 1/3 cup of almond vanilla in my Special K measuring cup. It all depends on how much I want in my coffee. In some cases I pour about 1/4 in my coffee cup, warm it for about 20 or 30 seconds, and add 1/4 of almond vanilla in the measuring cup and warm it up separately. I saw the measuring cup at Dollar Tree, it was too cute I had to pick it, and it do come in handy for a lot of things.

While the coffee machine is warming up, I go right ahead and put the measuring cup in the microwave for 30 seconds. Once it's finish, I leave the almond vanilla in the measuring cup and I use my milk frother to bring out the foam. I use the frother until I start to see foam, or until the coffee machine is ready. The milk frother I bought from Bed Bath & Beyond for about $20.

After the coffee fill a good amount in my cup, I pour the almond vanilla from the measuring cup on top of the coffee, and let the foam be the topping.

I don't add no topping on top of the foam, I leave it just like that.

Bon Appetit
